In this lesson your child was drawn into the Christmas story through
music, drama, and prayer. The birth of Jesus is both an
historical event and a spiritual reality. Saint Francis
of Assisi tells us that, in a spiritual way, Jesus is
born in each of us. This means that we show others the
way of Jesus through our prayer and good works. In our
lives we help make Jesus present in the world.
