Your child learned this week that Jesus Christ is God's best gift to
us. He is the second Person of the Blessed Trinity who
came into the world to fulfill God's plan of salvation.
Jesus became one of us and shared our human condition.
He was like us in everything but sin. By His life,
death, and resurrection, Jesus brought new life to all
humankind. Jesus is our Savior and Redeemer.
Prayer of Thanks
Read this passage from Scripture to your child:
"God so loved the world that God sent God's own Son to give us
eternal life." From John 3:16
Share some of your own thoughts and feelings about Jesus and invite
your child to do the same. Then pray together thanking
God for the gift of Jesus.
