Your
child has learned that at Pentecost the Holy Spirit came
upon the disciples of Jesus as the Paraclete, the Helper
who would guide the Church. Talk with your child about
the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation and what it
means to be a disciple of Jesus. Remind your child that
the Holy Spirit gives us the courage to live the way
Jesus taught. The Holy Spirit is always with us, and
helps us carry on the work of Jesus in the world.

us to be peacemakers like Jesus.

neighborhood. Decide ways you can be peacemakers.
