In
this lesson your child learned that God made us to love
and to be loved by others. Take time to show your child
your love. Let your child show his or her love for you.
Say to your child during this week, "God loves us.
I love you." Then give your child a hug. Help your
child understand that loving and being loved is what it
means to be one of God's people.
Talk
with your child about the Faith Summary statements on
page 41.
Share ways you can show love for others, beginning with
your own family.
You
might like to take a few minutes this week to talk about
people who might show inappropriate "love" for
your child. Point out that this is not real love. In a
warm and loving atmosphere, remind your child to come to
you right away and not be fearful should something like
this happen.
